Food for Thought - Review
Fly Cup Morning and Afternoon Fly Cups were a big thing when I was a kid living in Aberdeen. Fly Cup - Translation: Beverage served with a snack. E.G A Fly Cup of Tea, or A cup of tea on they fly. Each region of Scotland has it's own Dialect and slang, Fly cups was one of ours. My Grandma served it the same time of day. In the morning you could get a biscuit with your drink, Afternoon was cake time. Even now when my mum and I got out we always have to stop for a drink, and a little something sweet to eat. Developing food intolerance's kind of took the fun out of it. It was no long what are you going to have, but what can you eat!!! Usually I end up in chain coffee shops like Starbucks and Costa Coffee, because I know they always have a non dairy drinking option. Iv long giving up expecting to find something to eat as well.
